PEAK

The PartsWorld Emission Abatement Kit (PEAK) is a high quality OEM-Component based system developed to reduce the gaseous and particulate emissions of LTI Fairway and Fairway Driver Taxis (up to chassis No.102767. The system reduces the emissions of pre-Euro1 and Euro1 vehicles to levels compliant with current Euro3 legislation and is designed to meet the requirements of PCO notices 09/05 and 32/04.

Main Pollutant Reductions

Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)
Poisonous in large quantities and responsible for irritating eyes, nose and throat. These are reduced by lowering the flame temperature and reducing air availability within the combustion chamber.

Particulates
Noted for their ability to carry harmful compounds deep into the lungs. These emissions will be lowered by approximately 20% by the PEAK system.

Hydrocarbos & Carbon Monoxide
Hydrocarbons from engine oil and unburnt fuel are major constituents of smog, while carbon monoxide causes drowsiness and loss of concentration. Both pollutants are reduced by over 90% with PEAK.

This system has been independently tested by the Energy Savings Trust (EST) and has undergone 6 months of 'in-service' durability testing on a number of licensed London taxis operated by prominent London fleet propriertors.
